The Sacred Valley formed by the Urubamba River was the heart of the Inca civilization. Our VIP Sacred Valley Tour combines all the iconic archaeological wonders into a single, perfectly organized day tour. Experience ancient Incan engineering, traditional textile workshops, salt evaporation ponds, and vibrant Andean craft markets with dedicated transport and expert guiding.
We begin the tour with hotel pickup in Cusco between 06:30 AM and 07:00 AM. Our first stop is the traditional village of Chinchero, where we visit the archaeological remains of Tupac Inca Yupanqui’s royal estate, the colonial church, and a local textile center to watch traditional alpaca wool dyeing techniques.
Next, we head to Moray, the impressive agricultural laboratory featuring concentric circular terraces used by the Incas to experiment with crops at different microclimates. From Moray, we drive down to the Maras Salt Mines (Salineras), a vast complex of over 3,000 salt ponds harvested since pre-Inca times.
Around midday, we drive to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch. Afterward, we visit the living Inca town and fortress of Ollantaytambo, exploring its massive stone terraces and temples. Finally, we travel to Pisac to explore its hillside archaeological complex and famous craft market before returning to Cusco (arriving around 06:30 PM to 07:00 PM).
