DAY 1
Tour Vip Sacred valley of de Incas

We start the tour with the pick-up from your hotel between 06:30- 7:00am to go the village of: Chinchero, where we will appreciate the remains of the royal house of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, a beautiful colonial temple with interesting paintings on the portico (this place was built on the Inca’s construction). You can also admire the Inca walls in the main square of the village, etc. Continuing our tour, we will visit the village of: Maras, which is located 52 km from Cusco at an altitude of 3,380 m; the importance of the place is given by the salt mines; these salt mines are composed of about 3000 small wells of approximately 5 m2 from which salt is extracted. Obtaining salt follows the process of extracting and drying salt water from an underground spring. Next place that we will visit is: Moray, which is considered an Inca agricultural laboratory. This place was one of the main ‘agricultural research centers’ of the Inca empire. It was dedicated to the experimentation and planting of crops from different places. The different climates and altitude floors were built with the intention of making possible the planting of products from the coast and jungle in cold climates. We will continue our journey towards: Urubamba: Where you will have the delicious buffet lunch, then continue to the next place to visit: The Ollantaytambo Fortress, in the Inca era, was a fortified city with temples, defense walls as well as urban and agricultural sectors. It is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Peru and South America and is also considered after Machu Picchu, as the most perfect Inca citadel. And finally we will visit the: Pisaq viewpoint, from where you can appreciate the village of Pisaq and part of the archaeological center. Our tour ends at approximately 6:30pm in the city of Cusco in the square of San Francisco which is 2 blocks from the main square.
