Juan Carlos Becerra is our founder, originally from the rural community of Cuyo Chico – Pisac, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. He studied at the Faculty of Tourism at the University of Cusco (UNSAAC). While working at many travel agencies, he noticed many shortcomings and deficiencies in tourist service, from the moment of airport pickups, and there were even times when tourists missed the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu, all due to a lack of good communication with clients and, often, because the client was not treated as a priority. With this in mind, over 7 years ago, Machupicchu Trekking Peru was born with a single objective: to ensure that the tourist (our client) is the most important aspect of our work and that they leave with an unforgettable experience of the land of the Incas.
